The campaign theme for International Women’s Day 2021 is “Choose to Challenge.” A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day. From challenge comes change, so let's all choose to challenge.
On March 8th, Zonta Rose Day and International Women’s Day give us the opportunity to reflect on past achievements and honor the current efforts of champions for gender equality.
International Women’s Day has occurred for well over a century with the first gathering held in 1911. It is not country, group, nor organization specific. The day belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. Make International Women’s Day your day and do what you can to truly make a positive difference for women.
International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality.
